OKTOBERFEST!

I had the most amazing time at Oktoberfest this weekend. Words can't even describe how awesome the city was and how crazy the festival was. We were there for the opening weekend of Oktoberfest on the 200th anniversary. And I officially LOVE MUNICH.

I got on a coach bus with 4 friends at 11:30pm in Florence and we drove all through the night and ended up in Munich by 8:00 am the next day. We dropped our stuff off at the hotel and headed into town to meet a group that was hosting a bike tour throughout the whole city. The bike tour was 3 hours and they took us to so many historical buildings and beautiful churches. And they also took us  to the 2nd largest beer garden in the world! It was actually so beautiful! It was in Munich's English Gardens, which are 5 times the size of Central Park in NYC. Part of the park is nudist territory but it was too cold for the nudists to be walking around, thank goodness.
